Who Is Stephanie Wise?
I was born and raised in Sedgwick County. I attended Goddard schools and was raised in a nurturing environment with parents who instilled the values of community and service. With deep roots in the community, I have fostered strong connections with leaders, businesses, and individuals.
Limited Government
County government should remain limited and focused on its core functions. It’s government’s responsibly to maintain public safety and create a fair economic playing field, not to pick winners and losers. I will always fight against government overreach.
Lower Taxes
The cost of government is too high. Individuals, families, and businesses should keep more of their hard-earned money to invest in their future. When that happens, people flourish and economies grow. I will always fight to keep your taxes low and the government budget lean.
Protect Property Rights
Individual property rights are not only the backbone of our economy, they are essential for our individual liberty. I will always stand up for property owners and fight for stronger property rights. You are the best steward of your property, not the government.
Focus on Core Functions
County government should be laser focused on supporting and strengthening its core functions: first responders (i.e., fire, sheriff, EMS) and infrastructure (i.e., roads, bridges, embankments). I will always fight for our first responders and be a good steward of your tax dollars.
Why Stephanie?
Growing up in Goddard, as the middle child of five kids, family has been at the center of my life. My family instilled in me the virtues of faith, trust, courage, and accountability – all of which I carry with me today in life, leadership, and business. Living in Sedgwick County has given me tremendous opportunity to raise my own family and to build a successful business in commercial real estate, where I have quickly distinguished myself as an industry leader.
Sedgwick County is at a crossroads. We have seen many gains in our community, but we have also suffered many setbacks. I believe we need a strong, principled, conservative leader who understands that the proper role of government is to maintain public safety and protect the rights of property owners, not to encroach on people’s lives. I am such a leader; and I am running for Sedgwick County Commission as a mom, leader, and business executive to fight for your family, for your business, and for the future of our community. If you want a consistent, conservative leader who will fight for you, I ask for your support on November 5th.
